"The universal is what's real... The universal includes what matters, includes the eternal, the infinite. And anything less than that, is passing, ever-changing, dies away, falls away. And the universal doesn't fall away. The universal remains always. Even if all of humanity disappears, the universal will continue. The universal isn't about human beings; it's about the universal. It's bigger than any aspect. You may not be here anymore, but the universal in you will remain.
The universal is what supports you. The universal is what gives life. The universal is what is actually going on. The personal is just your little misperception of the actual universal, happening.
So if you shift your way of looking at things--to recognize more the universal, to not be so stuck on the personal--you'll naturally be tending toward the right direction."
