First, I make a couple of very exciting announcements: Now that I have a proper freelance Visa, I can travel the world! First stop- Canada! Those of you living on the West Coast will be happy to hear that I have two events planned in Vancouver. First, on the evening of Thursday, July 4th, an innovative new program called 'Awaken Your Creative Consciousness' will be held at the Vancouver Public Library, from 6:30-9:30PM. If you've been waiting to meet me, this will be the perfect time and place to do it. In the power-packed three hour program, I'll go over the vital importance of awakening our creativity through right and left brain balance, and explain how this improves life in every aspect. Next, I'll lead the group through three unique activities- one visual, one musical, and one meditative- to get the creative juices flowing. Following this artistic adventure, leftover time will be allotted to Q&A, group discussion, and, of course, hugs for whoever wants one. The cost of the program is $40 in advance, or $50 at the door. To register, contact the program host Jennifer at [email protected] On the Sunday following, I'll make myself available for FREE. Meet me at Stanley Park by the Totem Poles on Sunday, 7th July, at 2:30PM for a group meditation on Love and Light. Bring your friends and family- the more of us who meditate together lovingly, the more powerful the healing energy awakened in the city of Vancouver will be.And the following month, August, brings me to London once again! On the evening of 7th August, I will give my second discourse to the lovely group at London College of Spirituality. The date and time is still tentative, so do check the London Spirituality Meetups website for the exact date and time when it's announced. And, while in London, anyway, we'll finally have our Free Yourself live program! This is much anticipated, and sure to be an amazing two day program for all who come. More announcements will be made closer to August- but, if you're in the England area and wish to come, please keep your schedule clear for the first two weeks of August. And, after the announcements, these two questions are answered:A.k. Blake wrote:How do you feel about the spiritual scene that has grown up around festivals (particularly in the Pacific North West)? Generally an earth based, cosmic consciousness vibe pervades and small or enormous ceremonies are performed. People tend to leave feeling uplifted and connected despite the lack of structure. Do you have any experience with these? What are your thoughts on the Sacred being found without structure? Have you ever participated in a pagan ceremony as we do for the various holidays on the wheel of the year? (Pagan does not mean Godless, just earth centred.) I find the honouring of the divine feminine without patriarchal paradigms to be refreshing and honouring of the earth and the poetry of it's mysteries is very grounding and uplifting. I just wonder if you have any experience or opinion about pre-Christian, nature based spirituality. Namaste and Nithyanandam!Socorro Ferrer wrote:Thank you so much for all your love and light. You are truly a gift to many!! All my life I have prayed for true love, and I am finally coming to the realization that true love is within. That true love is love for oneself, and it means honouring the divine within. My seeking for higher consciousness has been a result of the heartache and pain left from failed relationships. Even though I am evolving, I feel I am still struggling with self-esteem and confidence issues, and fear of new relationships as a result of being in relationships where abuse was present. I would be very grateful if you would elaborate on this topic of self worth and self love. Thank you so much. Namaste.
